The pioneer and the market leader in Container Freight Stations (CFS), Aitken Spence Logistics provides export cargo consolidation services to many global brands and local exporters. We consolidate over 1,500 TEUs of export cargo acting as a vital link in the export supply chains. With a total of over 100,000 square feet of warehouse capacity dedicated to CFS activities, we possess in depth knowledge of export cargo consolidation operations. Our CFS operations are amply supported by over 80% of the shipping line containers being stored at our inland container terminals which enables empty container placement at a very short notice. We also provide exclusive CFS services to the apparel sector, such as quality assurance centers and rigging systems for Garment on Hanger (GOH) needs. In-house Customs facilities are available at all CFS’s for verification requirements of both inward and outward cargo.
Our strategically located Inland Container Terminals, situated on the Colombo - Negombo main highway, centrally located between the country’s main Air & Sea Ports, facilitate storage and handling for both empty and laden containers. Complemented by state-of-the-art container repair and rigging facilities, we continue to provide undisrupted logistical support to shipping lines, exporters and importers. As the largest inland container terminal in the country with a combined storage capacity of over 7,000 TEUs, we cater to equipment maintenance requirements of leading shipping lines calling the Port of Colombo. The fully secured facilities are equipped with cutting edge handling equipment; including empty and laden container handlers, top lifts, reach stackers and forklifts all of which work seamlessly to guarantee uninterrupted availability of containers for shipping needs.
