Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates who possess a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of work experience or an Engineering Diploma from a recognized institute with 15 years of work experience.
Previous hands-on experience in maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment is essential.
Experience in maintenance of container handling equipment would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates aged below 50 years are preferred.
Sound working knowledge of hydraulic systems, Mechatronics, high speed diesel engines, Transmissions with electronic controls and workshop technology is essential for this role.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of heavy equipment including empty and laden container handlers, mobile cranes, prime movers, trailers and managing the overall operation cum administration of the workshop repair facility.
